This 1971 Volkswagen Westfalia Campmobile was acquired by the current owner in 2012, reportedly from its second owner. The exterior has been refinished in red over a beige and yellow interior that features a dining area with a table and an icebox. The 1,584cc flat-four was reportedly rebuilt under previous ownership and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The seller states that 7k miles have been added under current ownership, during which time the owner has camped throughout western Washington. Annual oil changes and valve adjustments are also reported. This bay-window Type 2 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with factory manuals, partial service records, a passenger-side tent, two cots, a car cover, and a clean Washington title.
The exterior paint is Chianti Red. The Westfalia Campmobile 70 camper top, which is shown expanded in the gallery, has also been refinished. Each side of the vehicle is shown in the photo gallery below, and the seller notes an area of rust behind the passenger-side front wheel arch.
